Extract an Archive on COSMIC

1. Open the application launcher and launch COSMIC Files.

2. Find the archive you want to extract. Common archive formats include zip, tar.gz, and 7z.

3. Right-click on the file and select Extract.

Note

By default, the archive is extracted to the same folder the archive is in. If you want to extract the archive to a different location, select Extract To…, choose the location to extract to, then press Extract.
